Q1. What is Application (EoI)?
Ans. Application (EoI) is the proposal to be submitted by those who are willing to help us provide the required counselling and academic support services through our Study Centres for our Distance Eduation Programme. |

Ans. Yes, there is a particular format for Application (EoI), which the aspirant has to fill and submit to the University.

Q4. Can I submit the Application (EoI) online?
Ans. Yes, we would appreciate if you submit the Application (EoI) online. Please click on the 'LPU DE Study Centres' link on our website www.lpude.in or www.lpu.in. You will be linked to the LPU ODL Network website. Click on 'Online submission' under Application (EoI) link on the left hand side panel of the website. Fill the details and submit.

Q5. Can I submit the Application (EoI) by hand/ post?
Ans. Yes, you may submit the Application (EoI) by hand/ post. Please download the format of Application (EoI) from our website www.lpude.in or www.lpu.in by clicking at LPU DE Study Centres'. You will be linked to the LPU ODL Network website. Click on 'Offline submission' under Application (EoI) link on the left hand side panel of the website. Download the format of Application (EoI). Take a print of the format on A4 size paper of reasonably good quality. Fill the details in capital letters in blue ball point pen only. You may submit the Application (EoI) along with relevant enclosures by hand/ post at the following address: |

Q6. Can you send me the format of Application (EoI) through email?
Ans. No, the format of Application (EoI) may be filled online, or downloaded from our website. |
Q7. How do I know that I am eligible for filling the Application (EoI)?
Ans. The Head or any other designated official of an Institution, already existing or yet to be established, may submit the Application (EoI). |
Q8. Is there any age limit for an aspirant to submit the Application (EoI).
Ans. Yes, the aspirant must be a minimum of 21 years of age and a maximum of 65 years of age to be eligible for submitted Application (EoI) to us. |
Q9. Can I submit Application (EoI) for more than one location?
Ans. Yes, you may submit the Application (EoI) for more than one location. In this case, you will need to submit separate Application (EoI)'s for each proposed location.

Q10. Once submitted, can I modify my Application (EoI)?
Ans. In case you are filling the Application (EoI) online, you will be given a unique username and password, which will allow you to access your format of Application (EoI) till the last date of submission of Application (EoI). You are advised to SAVE not SUBMIT the Application (EoI) in case you are unsure of the details that you have filled in. You may make changes in the saved Application (EoI). But once you have SUBMITTED the Application (EoI), then you will not be able to make any changes.
In case you are filling the Application (EoI) offline, you will not be able to amend/ modify your Application (EoI) once submitted. |
Q11. What if I donot attach the requisite documents/ fee with the Application (EoI)?
Ans. Application (EoI) submitted without one or more required documents/ fee is liable to be rejected at the discretion of the University. |

Q1. What all Programmes are being offered by the University to be offered through Study Centres?
Ans. We have 10 Disciplines and more than 40 Programmes to be imparted through our Study Centres.

Q2. How many Disciplines/ Programmes can I apply for?
Ans. An aspirant may apply for any number of Disciplines/ Programmes. But the decision with respect to approval for providing Counselling & Academic Support Services at a Study Centre shall lie with the University. |
Q3. Is LPU recognised by DEC for offering Programmes through Distance Education?
Ans. Yes, LPU is recognised by Distance Education Council, New Delhi for offering Programmes through Distance Education. |
| About location of Study Centres |
Q1. In which all locations will the LPU DE Study Centres be set-up?
Ans. LPU DE Study Centres will be set up at District Head Quarters, Towns, Sub-divisions with population of 10,000 or above in all States and Union Territories of India.
However, the University reserves the right to drop any location(s) from its list of Study Centres at any point of time, without assigning any reason. |

| About Carpet Area |
Q1. What is the minimum carpet area required for a Study Centre?
Ans. The minimum carpet area requirement is as follows:
Minimum Carpet Area* required: 2000 sq. ft.
Minimum Carpet Area* required in metropolitan cities: 1500 sq. ft.
*Additional area of 500 - 1000 sq. ft. is required for programme specific labs required for programmes like Hotel Management, Microbiology, etc. |

Q1. Are there any specifications for Study Centres with regard to Manpower, Infrastructure, Technical requirements, Interiors, Website?
Ans. Yes, there are specifications for Study Centres for Manpower, Infrastructure, Technical requirements, Interiors. These specifications will be communicated to short-listed/ finalised aspirants. |
| Payment of Fee |
Q1. What is the fee to be paid with the Application (EoI)?
Ans. An initial Processing fee of Rs. 6000/- is to be with Form A of the Application (EoI).
In case of Online submission of Application (EoI), the initial Processing fee to be paid is Rs. 5000/-. |
Q2. How do I make the payment of initial Processing fee?
Ans. Please refer to the various modes of payment for payment of the initial processing fee.

Ans. No, the initial Processing fee once submitted will not be refunded. |
